This was a vegan restaurant called Avocado on the Apollonia resort near Gazi, Crete. This was an absolutely rarity and the only restaurant of its kind on the whole island! It is so important to support the exclusively vegan restaurants, wether they are independent or part of a bigger company. It shows that the demand for vegan food, and particularly fully vegan establishments, is there. A bigger demand leads to a bigger supply, which in turn makes veganism more accessible to everyone πŸ’š

Me and my boyfriend opted for the €22 set menu; which included a bread basket and a trio of dips, soup, a selection of starters, a salad, a main (I got vegetable schnitzel and Harry got pearl barley), a dessert and a shot of their homemade spirit! They also had and extensive list of vegan friendly wines and the friendliest staff, which just topped off the whole experience 🍷πŸ₯°
