Berries & ‘Cream’ Chia Pudding • Layered raspberry and vanilla chia seed pudding…

🍧🍓Berries & ‘Cream’ Chia Pudding🍓🍧

Layered raspberry and vanilla chia seed pudding; topped with alpro plain yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and a drizzle of peanut butter 🤤🥜.

Current research indicates that chia seeds have a high nutritive value, and results confirm their extensive health-promoting properties🧬. These properties include being a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, insoluble fibre and antioxidants 😄. Contrary to belief, including them in your diet does not have to be expensive either; I picked up a bag of them from aldiuk, for £1.29! 🙌🏻

👩🏼‍🍳Recipe (makes 1 jar):
1. Blend 65g of frozen strawberries/raspberries with 60ml of plant milk (I used alpro soya).
2. Once blended, mix in 1 tbsp of chia seeds and pour into the bottom of a jar/small glass. Let this set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
3. For the vanilla layer, mix 120ml of plant milk with 2tbsp of chia seeds and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
4. Pour this on top of the set berry layer and then allow to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours/overnight, with the lid on.
5. Lastly, top with 100g of plant yogurt and your favourite berries! Enjoy cold straight from the jar as a breakfast or snack 😋🌱
